About MathML
Mathematical expressions on this blog are written in ASCIIMathML, which is a human-readable math notation that is translated to MathML on the fly by your browser, provided you have a browser with MathML support.
If your browser supports MathML and you have javascript enabled, you should see fancy math expressions. If not, you will see the human-readable notation which is very similar to how people write math in email using plain text. Here is a test: `forall x, y, exists z, x^2 + y^2 = z^2`.
The most popular browsers support MathML through an extension or a plugin:
- Firefox and Mozilla:
you need to install suitable fonts, see instructions here. - Microsoft Explorer:
you need to install the Mathplayer plugin.
